Super Magnum Vintage Black Leather Trim
Referring to the "500-TX" Helmet, The Super Magnum by TT & CO is a masterpiece that blends timeless vintage style with today’s advanced safety standards. Handcrafted in Japan, this helmet combines classic open-face design with modern performance, offering exceptional protection in a lightweight, durable shell.
This version features a brown leather trim, inspired by 1950s vintage models. The leather has been thickened and puffed up. Known as 'kawa-maki' (leather wrapping), it is said to have originally been a protective part for racers. Sewn through the shell with waxed linen thread. Finished with hand stitching. Made with Japanese vegetable-tanned cowhide, genuine raw leather, and oiled. In order to replicate the vintage texture, TT & CO have applies a dye that promotes aging. The finish features color irregularities and is prone to fading and peeling over time.
