After success with the TR6SC Triumph decided to give everyone a chance to have one of these factory desert racers, the TR6C was born, a street equipped factory desert racer.

The TR6C was the first year of production, therefore less than 800 units were made, splitting between the east coast and west coast of the USA. At the time Johnson motors was still supplying TR6SC models for racers, this was the spawn of desert and TT racing in the US for triumph, a very exciting time.
TR6C TROPHY
The 1966 bikes are instantly recognisable by their single Amal Monobloc carburettor with pancake filter, and 2.3-gallon fuel tank with new-for-'66 'eyebrow' chrome Triumph badges.
This bike left the factory on 14th July 1966 bound for TriCor, the East Coast distributor in Maryland. Finished in correct Pacific Blue and White, this matching-numbers TR6C Trophy has been restored to original specification.
